I did research on typography and what makes a good and bad typeface. I wanted to keep the typeface consistent to that on the Daft Punk album covers. how ever i wanted to demonstrate that the duo are no longer together, so I imported a font I found on Dafont into illustrator and edited it to portray this idea. This also depics some drawings inspired by the Daft Punk helmets in the styles of their other album covers.
Here are my different designs for my album cover and research on the artists that influenced my process. I also explored various poster layouts. The posters that I designed can be seen here. I wanted to test different arangement and designs and play around with the hue and saturation etc. I wanted to I went on a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, so I wrote about the artist's work that I admired and work that I could potentially incorporate into my project in the future.
